With a capacity to protect spaces of up to 1m³, MAUS Stixx PRO 10 is 10 times more powerful than MAUS Stixx PRO 1 (0.1m3).
Its small footprint (6 x 6 x 2 cm) and large capacity make it a unique fire protection product on the market.
The product can be fitted with a detection cable of various lengths, to extend the detection zone and speed up detection. You can “chain” the units to protect an even larger area. This makes it perfect for electrical cabinets and switchboards.
The unique features of the MAUS STIXX Pro family make it the smarter solution for switchboards, electrical boxes and motor compartments.
This is due to the MAUS STIXX Pro‘s activation temperature – as low as 180° – being lower than the competition, and its 100% flooding of the extinguishing agent once activated.
This happens when the internal or external heat-sensing cable is activated by exposure to a flame, or when the device reaches 180°C.
The extinguishing agent will rapidly flood the protected area to extinguish the fire. The extinguishing agent consists of a patented, non-toxic, environmentally friendly potassium blend

Unlike conventional extinguishers, it leaves NO residue, making it easy to restore.

MAUSS STIXX PRO 10 require a space of 5 to 10 cm around the product to facilitate the release of the extinguishing gas.
MAUSS STIXX PRO 10 are designed for closed compartments: electrical boxes, outboard motors, engine compartments or batteries.
MAUSS STIXX PRO 10 are not suitable for open spaces where the extinguishing agent would be diluted. Ventilated enclosures are not ideal for this technology.

Where should they be placed?
– electrical boxes and panels – stick to the top of the cover.
– Closed engine compartments of boats and vehicles, in the fuse box and near the fuel supply.
– Outboards: fix the MAUSS STIXX PRO 10 under the cover.
– Battery compartment glued to the compartment cover as close as possible to the area at risk of short circuit.
